Amongst the most amazing technology on show is video mapping. It allows for the “enhanced customisation” of Tod’s loafers.
The process is ingenious and involves projecting 3d videos - showing different colours and materials - onto the surface of a neutral-coloured italian skyline. The illusion is all-consuming and feels like customising the shoes in just a few clicks.
